What is a RootInference credit?
A credit is the unified billing unit across all 500+ models: 1 credit ≈ $0.01 of inference. Every request is metered at the underlying model's rate and priced in credits, so one balance covers OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and every other provider on the platform.
When do credits expire?
All purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, and subscription credits roll over and remain valid for 12 months from the date they are granted. There are no 30-, 60- or 90-day expiry windows. Credits are consumed oldest-expiry-first, and your dashboard shows upcoming expiry dates at all times.
When are credits consumed?
Credits are consumed only for successfully completed requests, at the metered token cost of the model that served them. Failed requests — including provider errors after all failover attempts — never consume credits.
Can I buy additional credits?
Yes — credit packs of $10 (1,000 credits), $100 (11,000 credits — a 10% bonus) and $500 (60,000 credits — a 20% bonus) can be purchased at any time on any plan, and every pack is valid for 12 months.
How does enterprise pricing work?
Enterprise agreements are annual, with custom credit allocation, volume-based credit pricing, uptime SLAs, provider data-policy requirements and dedicated onboarding and account teams.
